One journey to both the great lords of Hinduism: Lord Shiva at Pashupatinath, the world’s holiest Shiva temple, and Lord Vishnu at Muktinath — the only one of the 108 Divya Desams that lies outside India, revered equally by Hindus and Buddhists. Between them lie the lakes of Pokhara and a spectacular mountain flight up the Kali Gandaki gorge to Jomsom. Our family designs this circuit to be comfortable for pilgrims of every age: domestic flights replace the longest drives, and Muktinath itself asks only a short walk. Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the evening we join the Bagmati Aarti at Pashupatinath, the most powerful darshan moment of the day.
Overnight: Kathmandu
Pashupatinath darshan & puja; Guhyeshwari; drive to Pokhara
Early morning darshan of the Pashupati Jyotirlinga with an optional puja, and a visit to the adjacent Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth. Then we drive west to Pokhara through the river valleys, the lakeside town beneath the Annapurnas.

Fly to Jomsom (2,700 m); Muktinath darshan (3,800 m)

A spectacular early mountain flight up the Kali Gandaki, the world’s deepest gorge, to Jomsom, then by jeep to Muktinath. Darshan and puja at the 108 Mukti Dhara water spouts, the Jwalamai eternal flame and the Mukti Kunda ponds. Return to Jomsom for the night.

Fly back to Pokhara; sightseeing

Morning flight back to Pokhara. Afternoon visit to Davis Falls, the Gupteshwor cave shrine and a boat to the Tal Barahi temple on Phewa Lake.

- Indian nationals do not require a visa for Nepal (passport or voter ID accepted, zero cost). Other nationalities receive a visa on arrival (USD 30 / 50).
- Muktinath is one of the 108 Divya Desams and the only one outside India — sacred to both Hindus (Vishnu / Shaligram) and Buddhists.
- Best season: March–May and September–November. The Pokhara–Jomsom flight is weather-dependent; we book early-morning departures and build in flexibility.
- Fitness: comfortable for most ages. Muktinath sits at 3,800 m with a short walk of around 400 steps to the temple; horses are available for that final stretch.
- Altitude: mild effects are possible at Muktinath — the Pokhara day and the gradual gain help you acclimatise. Tell your guide of any symptoms.
- Pure-vegetarian Satvik meals are arranged on request; modest dress is required for darshan.
- Comprehensive travel insurance including emergency helicopter evacuation is strongly recommended.

What is the Jomsom mountain flight like?
It is one of Nepal’s most breathtaking flights, climbing the Kali Gandaki gorge between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. We book calm early-morning departures; because mountain weather can delay flights, we always keep the schedule flexible.
Is altitude sickness a risk at Muktinath?
Muktinath is at 3,800 m, so mild headache or fatigue is possible. The Pokhara day and gradual ascent help you acclimatise; stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and tell your guide if you feel unwell.
Can you arrange puja and vegetarian food?
Yes. We arrange darshan and puja at both temples and pure-vegetarian Satvik meals on request, including Indian-style preparations.
How large is the group?
